Xgrinder™ Performance Advantage
The Xgrinder™ 3D grinding motion delivers the highest nucleic acid yield across all tested pathogens—including Gram-positive bacteria and fungi—outperforming vortex beating, enzymatic digestion, and 2D grinding methods. With a processing time of just ~4 minutes, Xgrinder™ significantly reduces workflow time compared to enzyme lysis (~15 minutes) while providing up to 4.3× greater yield.
In whole blood (WB) samples, Xgrinder™ achieved the lowest Ct values, indicating higher nucleic acid concentrations. The observed ΔCt improvements (ranging from 2.38 to 4.28) reflect substantial gains in extraction efficiency and pathogen detectability.
