OnsiteGene, founded in 2016, is a start-up biotech firm that specializes in developing superfast, fully-automated, portable, and low cost RT-qPCR technology that can perform editable syndromic panel testing with “Sample-to-Answer” functionality. The patented XDive® system can finish a 40-cycle RT-PCR in as short as 5 minutes, enabling the entire COVID-19 detection workflow - from sample collection to PCR report - to be completed in less than 15 minutes. Our goal is to actualize universal molecular point of care testing (POCT), done anywhere and anytime.

 

This position at OnsiteGene is an internship. Interns will obtain training on the basics of R&D, biology lab techniques, qPCR techniques, and lab management. During the internship, interns will be guided by experienced senior scientists and learn how to tune and run the 2nd generation XDive® system.
